Mr. Taber's practice focuses on helping clients protect their investment in products and innovations. This includes protecting their own intellectual property as well as recognizing and limiting their IP risks.

His work entails intellectual-property protection and prosecution (patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets) as well as counseling clients on managing their IP risks and assets. Mr. Taber has significant experience in prosecuting patents before the United States Patent and Trademark office in a wide variety of technologies. He also has extensive experience counseling clients in evaluating competitors' IP portfolios and actively pursuing technologies clear of those portfolios. Mr. Taber's practice also includes working with foreign counsel prosecuting patents outside of the United States when necessary.
